It's useful to know it, to be aware when it manifests itself in us and to use it all consciously, but especially responsibly in teams. It is based on the value we give to the things we create with our own hands. According to the Swedish giant, the products offered by the likes of Ikea are more valuable because they give shoppers the opportunity to assemble them themselves.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Based on this idea, I thought about how this effect could be applied in any company to add value.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">I am not the owner of universal solutions, nor do I believe in them, but here are some ideas:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Teams be encouraged to set their own procedures by which they achieve the results the company sets and demands<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Teams to be able to decorate their own offices or spaces with what they choose<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Team leaders can create moments for the team to stop and consider how they do things in different contexts: when they make decisions, when they have conflicts, etc. Working with many teams in both coaching and teambuilding programs, I have seen that most of the time teams are not aware of their personal way of making decisions. They don't even know they have one. Much less do they have the opportunity to choose for themselves, by experimenting, what that should be. It's all a context of doing things with your hands. More interestingly, as leaders you can create contexts for teams to consider and then make decisions about how their team resolves conflict.
