When someone asks you a question about yourself, how long does it take you to get to the point?

Every client who crosses my path teaches me something. And, of course, they learn something from me. I've already told you that I like to form partnerships with my clients to help each other evolve.

What one of my last clients taught me is that when people talk too much they do it to hide something. From themselves or others.

Even though coaching is not healing, people are afraid to open up and may even fear being judged. They may be afraid to become aware of something that is deeply bothering them or that is actually hurting them right now.

It is really very hard to accept that you are going through a difficult time. That's why I'm here for you.

As a coach I can help you overcome these challenges. I can help you create a better future where problems don't come your way as often. I can help you find the answer that has been hidden from you until now.

Please don't beat yourself up if you haven't found your way yet. Sometimes people need outside help to find their answers.

This client I talk about was always telling me stories instead of answering my questions. He was running from an answer, from a solution. He was telling me about every detail of the situation. It really adds more details to the details. This was the approach he used to avoid the deep answer, the real truth about himself.

And this client wasn't the only one who did this. In my career I have met many people who avoid facing themselves. Especially if we are in one of our first coaching sessions where they are not yet fully comfortable.

But coaching is not something to scare you and make you run away. You don't have to hide behind your stories.
