3 differences between therapy and coaching

Do you know the top 3 differences between a therapist and a coach?

Today I want to talk to you in simple words. I want to briefly introduce you to both the world of coaching and therapy.

To find your true self and improve your life you must choose wisely. When you decide not to acknowledge and accept your true problems and needs it will cost you a lot of wasted time. What's more, it may cost you your health. And a lot of money for a treatment that may not help you in the end.

Are you ready to learn the differences to make a decision?

  • Therapy deals with emotional issues, coaching does not.

This is the most important difference when it comes to therapy and coaching. You shouldn't use a coach instead of a therapist just out of fear. Your mental health needs a professional approach and help. Therefore, therapy is what you need.

Coaching helps you improve, but not heal.

And in order to create a brighter future for yourself, you must first be healed of all your past traumas.

  • Past vs. Future

A therapist focuses on what is affecting you from your past. Past events, habits or behaviours that affect you in the present.

A coach focuses on the present and helps you create a better future without thinking about the past.

  • Exact solutions vs. Own journey

Therapy gives you universal answers and methods. A therapist will tell you exactly what to do. Therapists' methods are tested and accurate and will help you no matter what.

A coach asks you the right questions so that you can find solutions on your own, in your own way.

So what would you choose - therapy or coaching?
