Organisation and lists
One of the easiest ways to get organised is to create lists.
The process of making a list helps us become more organised, forcing us to prioritise the tasks and activities we have to do. Another great thing about lists is that they help with very minimalist and clear organization, providing a simple and logical structure.
Surely you've made at least a few lists in your lifetime by now. So you'll understand when I tell you that lists work because of the sense of accomplishment we get when we check a task off the list.
Sometimes, when you have no other motivation to start doing the right thing on your list, it might be enough to simply set a goal of clearing the activity off your list. A shorter list certainly gives you a greater sense of productivity.
And this system works for anything you have to do, from work tasks, housework, homework or just little things you need to remember to have a balanced routine, like drinking water or taking regular breaks.
A different kind of list
But even though most lists are meant to remind us or motivate us to do things, there is a special list that each of us needs to make.
In order to create the life you want without too many obstacles in your way, you need to have a list of things to avoid at all costs.
This type of list can become your guide in difficult situations. Of course, you have to do things to evolve. But you also need to know when not to do something or when to avoid a situation. And this list will be like your own handbook that you can consult when you're in trouble.
Think about who you want to be - with yourself and others - and think about what you need to avoid in order to become that person. Then write these things down.
And if you need help, remember, I'm always here for you!
