Do you need healing or growth?

You probably think you know the difference between coaching and therapy. Ask yourself what you would choose between these two.

I invite you to read the difference between them to see if you made the right choice.

A therapist only works with past trauma. Past traumas that do indeed affect the client's future and present. But a therapist doesn't work specifically on creating a better future.

Therapy helps you heal. It helps you free yourself from emotional and psychological blocks.

A coach works with the present. Coaching focuses on creating a brighter future.

A coach will help you become aware of your fears and weaknesses so you can eliminate them on your own.

A coach will never tell you to do a certain thing. In coaching there is no exact solution.

Your journey is your own and no one else can tell you how to act.

Were you right? Did you choose what would be best for you?

To convince you, I'll give you a few more details:

Therapy works with the past to improve the present. Or even to create a new present.

Coaching understands the present to create a new future.

A therapist finds the problem, understands it, cures it. All this so that he can help the client only in the present moment.

A coach asks bigger questions that focus on current events, present situations to create a better outcome in the future.

When a person seeks a coach it doesn't necessarily mean they are suffering. They seek a coach more out of a desire to grow to a higher level, having already healed their past.

What do you need more, healing or growth?
